FEELING DOWN?

WE ARE HERE FOR YOU.

Positive changes to mental health

Ashburton Community Alcohol and Drug Service (ACADS) works with young people experiencing anxiety or low mood.

Our friendly staff are totally non-judgemental and are here to help you.

We know how scary it can be when you’re experiencing feelings you may not understand, so we work alongside you to come up with practical steps to make positive changes to your mental health and wellbeing. We will work with you on figuring out what may be making you worried and how to respond to it. We can also give you information and resources to use at home.

The Youth Mental Health service will let you take the lead and focus on the goals you want to achieve.

At any stage, you are welcome to bring a support person with you, such as a mate or a family member, if they would help you feel more comfortable.

To use our free and confidential service, you can simply make an appointment or you can be referred by your school, doctor or family.
