Struggling with an alcohol or drug issue?
Recognising that you may have an issue with alcohol or other drugs can be a difficult time.
The friendly ACADS team are here to listen and offer guidance and support while helping you work through challenges you may be experiencing with alcohol or other drug use.
When you contact ACADS, one of our trained counsellors will answer any questions or concerns you have and explain the different services we provide. We will help determine if one of our services would help you on the road to living a healthier life.
Our team will take into account your physical, mental, social, cultural and spiritual wellbeing when planning your recovery with you. We help people to stop or reduce their substance use and reconnect them with family or the community.
If you have concerns about the alcohol or other drug use of someone else in your life, we can talk with you about ways that you can support them while keeping yourself safe.
You are welcome to bring a support person with you to any of your appointments including whānau/family or a friend. ACADS also has strong connections with Māori, Pasifika and other cultural supports within the Ashburton district.
